Matrix Early Learning Fawkner – Long Day Care

At Matrix Early Learning in Fawkner, we provide long day care services for families across Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Long day care services are available from 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our childcare centre has been purpose-built to offer children high-quality care and early childhood education, including preschool and a free government funded kindergarten program.

Our centre offers rich and stimulating indoor and outdoor environments to provide children with quality open-ended learning. Our rooms are bright and spacious and our outdoor play areas have been architecturally landscaped to provide children with continuous exploration and physical development.

In addition to this, our childcare service incorporates a specially designed music and sports program by Mini Monstars. We also welcome regular educational guests and hold excursions to further develop children’s learning.

Each of our rooms from nursery, toddlers, pre-kinder and kindergarten offer a natural, play-based, indoor-outdoor program designed to appeal and cater to the needs of all children. The nature of the experiences and the challenges that each one offers differ slightly to provide age-appropriate inspiration for the children within them. Our highly qualified educators use their keen awareness, knowledge and experience to develop and implement programs within the rooms that will cater to and extend the abilities of all the children within their care.

Government Funded Kindergarten Programs

At Matrix Early Learning Fawkner, we also offer free kindergarten and pre-kinder programs available from Monday to Friday for 3 and 4-year-olds. Our teachers hold Bachelor Degrees in Early Childhood Education and have several years’ of experience teaching in primary school and kindergarten.

With a focus on social and emotional development, the kindergarten programs are designed to give kids a solid social and educational foundation that they will be able to build on in primary school.
